We decided to enter Silloth carnival on the 27/8/07.

• The hardest decision we made was choosing what we were going to enter the carnival as; we came up with lots of ideas but we could never agree on just one so in the end we decided to get George the Dragon out and refurbish him.

• We first started off by refurbishing the Dragon as it was a while ago that it was used last. We decided that we were going to change him into a traditional English Dragon instead of the Chinese style one that he used to be.

• Next we started to make our costumes. We all had a cape that we decorated with different material. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of us making them.

• Before we knew it, it was the week of the Carnival. We decided that we'd better have a dress rehearsal.

• The day of the Carnival came and the next challenge was figuring out how to secure the Dragon to the roof of the car and to make sure that it won't get covered in flies on the way there.

• When we got to Silloth we had our lunch then put our costumes on. We then started to have a practice with the dragon. We were then were judged.

• Before we knew it the Carnival was starting.
